As a member of Korsholm Music Festival, you can utilize all of our member benefits. We arrange yearly one or two member trips to exciting music events in either Europe, the Nordic countries or in Finland. Shorter busexcursions can also occur. More of the member benefits are listed below.
MEMBER FEE 2020: Private members 25 € Companies/organizations: 100 €
After a turbulent year 2020 we are focusingtoward next summer 2021. The Corona pandemy has rearranged almost all the cultural sector in our region and in Finland, but we have strong hopes to be able to arrange next summers festival as planned. We will open our theme already in february 2021.
The annual meeting reelecter Anton Ylikallio as chairman of the board. New board members are Janek Oksanen and Pontus Grans.
Longtime members Jyrki Paalanen and Solveig Pått stepped down from the board. We are grateful for their contribution with knowledge and time taken for the festival work. New supportmembers are always welcome to participate in the association.
Due to the situation in Europe and the corona virus and also because the airlines are cancelling partially their routes we need to cancel our membertrip to the Elbphilarmonie. We will try again in September when the situation has calmed down. Preliminary dates are 27.-30.9.2020.

Member trip to the ELBPhilharmonie in Hamburg 3-5.4. We have recieved many requests about a member trip to the grand ELBPhilharmonie Concert House in Hamburg and now it's finally here! We will travel on Friday 3.4. and visit a Chamber Music Concert "Kammerfest" on Saturday 4.4. at 18.00. The performers are many artists from all around Europe, some even familiar to our Korsholm Music Festival audience.
We have reserved tickets, which will stay booked for us during four weeks. During this time, we will try to get around 20 members to join and sign up before the 21st of November. The concert ticket price is 62 €. During the concert we will listen to artists like Narea Son, soprano, ATOS (piano)Trio, Bennewitz Quartet, Azahar Ensemble, Frederic Sanchez Muñoz, María Alba Carmona Tobella, Antonio Lagares Abeal, María José García Zamora, Miquel Ramos Salvadó, Genova & Dimitrovpianoduo, Aglika Genova, piano, Liuben Dimitrov, piano.
The total price of the member trip is 770 €, incl. 2 hotel nights + breakfast in double room (Ibis Alster), the flight (Finnair) Vaasa-Hamburg-Vaasa, transportations to and from the airport and the concert ticket.
